Case Study

After several meetings with Comcast Executives and Confer's CEO & Co-Founder, a $1M+ Purchase Order soon followed.  Confer was acquired by Carbon Black several months later. The Comcast win validated Confer's technology and value which spurred the Carbon Black acquisition.

Overview

As an early stage Cyber Security company, Confer was beginning to engage with the security operations team at Comcast Corporation on a Proof of Concept (POC).  Confer needed proper positioning with the executive budget holder of Security Operations.  One of Confer's co-founders' reached out to Scott and provided an introduction to their CEO.  The company retained Scott as a Senior Executive Sales Consultant to the CEO.  Scott provided guidance and critical feedback to the Confer executive team.   After several conference calls and in-person executive meetings arranged by Scott, Comcast agreed to contract negotiations. 

 

A $1M+ Purchase Order followed shortly thereafter. Confer was acquired by Carbon Black several months later. The Comcast win validated Confer's technology and value which spurred the Carbon Black acquisition.
